Whether you're new to UNT Dallas or returning for another semester, Welcome Week is your chance to find your people, your path, and your purpose. Join us for a week of fun, traditions, campus resources, and opportunities to connect with fellow Trailblazers as we kick off an incredible semester together!

🎉 Fun First Day
🕘 Time: 9:00–10:30 a.m.
📍 Location: Roundabout

There's no better way to kick off the semester than with your fellow Trailblazers! Start your first day with campus spirit, new connections, and a Welcome Week t-shirt as you begin finding your people at UNT Dallas.

🐾 Lunch with Jax
🕛 Time: Noon–1:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Student Center Lobby

Take a break between classes to grab lunch, snap a photo with Jax, and celebrate the start of a new semester. Whether you're making new friends or reconnecting with classmates, this is the perfect place to find your spot.

🚗 Commuter Curbside Welcome
🕔 Time: 5:00–6:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Courtyard

Classes don't stop when the sun goes down, and neither does Welcome Week! Stop by to connect with campus resources, meet fellow students, and receive a warm Trailblazer welcome as you find your place in our community.

🎤 Tuesday Night Live!
🕕 Time: 6:00–7:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Student Center – Campus Hall

Lights, laughs, and friendly competition await at this game show-inspired Welcome Week event! Join us for an evening of interactive fun, exciting challenges, and a chance to find your people while making unforgettable memories.

📅 Wednesday, August 26 | Your Path
🌭 Hot Dogs, Hamburgers & Handshake
🕦 Time: 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Founders Hall Lobby

Fuel up with lunch while discovering how Handshake can help you connect with internships, campus jobs, and future career opportunities. It's never too early to start finding your path.

🟢 Greek 101
🕐 Time: 1:00–2:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Founders Hall, Room 101

Interested in fraternity and sorority life? Learn what Greek life is all about, explore the steps to becoming a member, and discover how involvement can help you find your people and grow as a leader at UNT Dallas.

🎓 New Student Convocation

Welcome to the Trailblazer family! Join your classmates and university leaders as we celebrate the beginning of your college journey and the traditions that make UNT Dallas home as you officially begin your journey as a Trailblazer.

🧺 Trailblazer Outfitters & President's Picnic
🕛 Time: Noon–2:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Student Center South Patio & Hart Amphitheater

Grab a bite, enjoy live music, and explore campus resources during this picnic-style Welcome Week celebration. Meet new people, discover opportunities across campus, and continue finding your spot at UNT Dallas.

📅 Friday, August 28 | Purpose in Action
🥕 North Texas Food Bank Distribution
🕘 Time: 9:00 a.m.–Noon (or until food runs out)
📍 Location: Parking Lot 2

Be part of one of UNT Dallas' favorite monthly traditions as we partner with the North Texas Food Bank to serve our campus and surrounding community. Whether you're receiving food or supporting someone who could benefit, this is another opportunity to find your purpose through the spirit of community.

Trailblazer Outfitters (11:00 am – 1:00 pm | Student Center, Campus Hall)

Don't have anything blue? This event is perfect for you! Upgrade your Trailblazer style! Browse and grab campus merch so you can show your school spirit in every class, event, and selfie.

The biggest party of Welcome Week! Enjoy music, dancing, games, and activities all night long—it’s the perfect way to wrap up your first week of classes.
