Important Action Item: Verify Your Pre-Health Track!

To ensure you receive the most relevant event invitations and one-on-one coaching, we need to verify your specific pre-health track (e.g., Pre-Med, Pre-Dental, Pre-PA, Pre-Nursing, etc.).

We are using the Trailblazer LIVE platform to manage these official sub-groups.

ACTION REQUIRED: Please log into Trailblazer LIVE and join the sub-group that corresponds to your target health career.

  • Click here to visit the UNT Dallas Pre-Health Page
  • Add a Subgroup: Head to your profile and add yourself to a subgroup that indicates your pre-health track. Popular options include Pre-Med, Pre-Dental, Pre-PA, Pre-Nursing, Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Vet, Pre-Podiatry, and Pre-Optometry.

  • Fill out Your Profile: Complete the "Join a Subgroup" section on the About tab. You will also fill out the given fields as well. 

  • If you need help, we will attach screenshots to this newsletter to show you exactly where to find and fill out this section. Also, be sure to download the CampusGroups App and select UNT Dallas. This is what you will use when checking into any event to track your attendance.

🩺 Calling All Future Nurses: Nursing-Specific Support

If you are pursuing a career in nursing, we have resources specifically tailored for your path! 

To get the most relevant information on UNT Health's BSN pathway, clinical opportunities, and essential prerequisites, please make sure you:

  1. Click here to visit the group page.
  2. Select the "Pre-Nursing" sub-group when verifying your track on Trailblazer LIVE (as mentioned above).

  3. Connect with your Health Professions Navigator for advising on BSN program prerequisites and the application timeline.

The requirements for nursing programs are specialized, and we want to ensure you are receiving the most accurate guidance from your Assiatnt Dean of Stduent Success-Health Professions.
