Walk A Mile In Her Shoes

Join the UNT Dallas community for Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, a campus-wide event raising awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault while encouraging education, prevention, and community action.

Student organizations, campus groups, academic departments, and offices are invited to form a team and designate a representative to walk the symbolic mile in red high-heeled shoes—provided at the event! Traditionally, men are especially encouraged to step into the red heels as a symbolic gesture of taking on the weight of issues that disproportionately impact women. Team members and supporters who aren't wearing heels are encouraged to walk alongside their representative.

Together, we can take a visible stand against domestic violence and sexual assault and help build a safer, more supportive campus community.
